What to plan for in a new apartment mailroom

Package volume is set the day residents move in, so the mailroom and package room are easiest to get right on paper. Cover these before design development closes:

• Expected daily package volume per unit, including move-in and holiday peaks, to size lockers and shelving.
• Linear wall feet and clearance for the locker bank, the mailbox bank, and package room shelving.
• Dedicated power and a network drop at each locker or package room location.
